One of Brown's oldest traditions brings together the entire Brown community. The procession steps off through Faunce Arch promptly at 9:45 AM. Alumni march through the Van Wickle Gates. Graduating seniors march through last, at approximately 10:45 AM. Stand near Rockefeller Library to view the procession. More info here.
Ceremony for thanksgiving, harmony, and rhythm; includes music, dance, and spiritual readings. Student will be welcomed to the First Baptist Church with West African drums. Seating in the Church is only for the graduates. Family and friends watch a large-screen videocast on the College Green, in the Salomon Center, or in Sayles Hall. Seniors line-up for a procession on Waterman St. at 1:30pm then walk to the Church. More info here.
Typically cheese, cheese, and cheeses, award-winning quiches, and mimosas. Celebration of graduating seniors in the New Works/World Traditions Dance Company and West African dance. Hosted by Alexx's dance professor.
