"I just want to say again how much I was appreciative of this experience. I feel so inspired and motivated. I definitely feel like there were people that I met this weekend that I could look up to even if I only met with them in such a short time. "

- ANDREW, PIGEON POINT RETREAT

"Thank you so much for constructing this space. It was such an important experience at this season of my life. "

EXPERIENCE DESIGN

How do we connect deeply and authentically to the people in our communities? How often do we reflect on our vision and values and share them with one another? How often do we open ourselves up to creativity and play?

Alexx works with communities, groups, and teams to build multi-faceted, immersive and fully-interactive experiences that inspire professional & personal growth, collaborative creativity & play, and authentic connection. This experiences range from evening-long experiences to multi-day retreats. Alexx uses a human-centered design process to create customized, transformational experiences that address the needs of each community she works with.

Senior Re-Orientation

A two-day-long workshop for undergraduate college seniors to reflect on achievements and proudest moments, as well as challenges and failures; develop self-awareness in the transition to the working world; and reflect on goals, values, and visions. It is a space to connect with others intentionally, resisting the norms of typical relationships that are formed on college campuses.

A collaboration with Fiora MacPherson, sponsored by Brown University Campus Life Fund.

Pigeon Point Retreat

A three-day, two-night retreat experience that brings together young visionaries who share a mutual interest in designing their lives and helping others design theirs. Pigeon Point provides an opportunity for participants to expand the circle of people committed one's successes. At Pigeon Point, we connect deeply, share passions, & share useful skills and practices to help us achieve our goals.

Our team combined leadership and design curriculum along with our empathy for the life of a twenty-something to design a transformational weekend-long retreat at a hostel on the Pacific coast.

A collaboration with two colleagues from the International School of Asia, Karuizawa, Durell Coleman and Jesse Palmer.

Friday, January 8 - Sunday, January 10th, 2016

"Initially, I thought the weekend would be pure and fun, a distraction from a lingering existential episode, but surprisingly, true excitement for Pigeon Point ignited and lasted all throughout the retreat, even continuing weeks after its end. I appreciated that every person came prepared for genuine learning through the lives of others, and memories of their starry-eyed inquires are unforgettable. I will happily carry their lives with me -- those eclectic spirits are dear to me. It is because of this experience that I am looking at my life with vigor. And because of the safe space, I am a better person. "
